How to apply
It is easy to apply for a refund at Amaat
first, the employer must have agreed with the employee during which period leave is taken in connection with pregnancy, ardoption or care, the employer must send an application for reimbursement for the period agreed with the employee to the maternity fund.
Once the employer has applied, the maternity fund processes the application.
The employer must attach the following documentation for applying for reimbursement:
- pregnancy certificate and or birth certificate
- adoption papers if there is talk of ardoption
- payslips for the last 3 months
- employment contract or similar
Applications for reimbursement must be sent no later than 3 months after the end of the quarter to which the reimbursement relates.
